The Multifamily Innovation Lab is seeking a motivated intern to support research and marketing initiatives as we expand our independent review platform for multifamily technology.
The Lab publishes transparent, standardized reviews of multifamily technology companies to help owners, operators, and investors make more informed technology decisions. Think Consumer Reports meets Gartner for multifamily real estate technology.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the rapidly evolving proptech ecosystem while contributing to original industry research.
Responsibilities may include:
Conducting background research on multifamily technology companies
Supporting the preparation of company review materials
Assisting with market and competitive analysis
Supporting marketing initiatives, including social media and outreach
Helping organize research insights and documentation
Time Commitment
Minimum 10–15 hours per week, or approximately 150 hours total
Ideal Candidate
Interest in proptech, real estate technology, or multifamily housing
Experience working in multifamily real estate (property management, operations, leasing, etc.) is strongly preferred
Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
This is an excellent opportunity for students or early-career professionals interested in multifamily operations, real estate innovation, or venture/technology research. The internship is unpaid. Ideal for students who can receive credit for coursework or degree.
